about

Lobisomem is Brad Loving. The 11 songs of “Onze Pedras” were born in Brad’s head in Chicago. They spent their formative times in Mali in the spring of 2009. Brad moved to Brooklyn and the songs came with him. There they began to grow. Drums were added by Nori Tanaka in Tokyo. Matt Leer played some guitars and synths and Daniel Huffman stirred in electronics in Dallas. Brad continued working in Brooklyn where Bob Jones bowed viola and double bass. In December of 2009, he brought the tracks to John McEntire at SOMA Studios in Chicago. There, Jamie Branch brought her trumpet, and David Daniel and Antonio Carella brought guitars. McEntire recorded, engineered and mixed. John sent the ½” tape prints to Roger Siebel at SAE in Phoenix to be mastered. Roger sent the vinyl lacquer to Rainbo in California to be pressed. The songs of Lobisomem’s “Onze Pedras” are all grown up and available on September 14, 2010, on vinyl and digitally – wherever you live.
